A reseller is a business that contracts with a “registrar” and performs domain registration acquisition services.

In some cases, the registrar sells directly, but in general, when you get a domain, you often buy from a reseller, and most domain operators you know are treated as resellers.

Resellers do not have access to a domain management system called SRS (Shared Registry System), so they will always manage their domains through a contracted registrar.
