EAT is a term that Google uses in its search quality evaluation guidelines, meaning Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness, respectively. In recent years, it is said to be an important item when Google evaluates the quality of its search engine.

Each of the three elements of EAT is not mentioned separately in the search quality evaluation guidelines , but there is also expertise in hobbies and gossip pages. Although the required level may differ depending on the field, it is necessary to have a high level of expertise and reliability of information and reputation from others.
